At IACA we educate students in the visual and performing arts and serves as a cultural center for the surrounding region through creative activity, research, liberal education and public engagement
- To encourage, inspire, promulgate the tradition in fine arts, music, dance, drama and other subjects to educate and train people in fine arts.
- To affiliate associations imparting learning, exercise or accompanying study in fine arts including other subjects like music, dance, and other arts of India.
- To explain options of study and setting guidelines and protocols to conduct examinations in fine arts including music, dance, and other subjects.
- To explore in the field of fine arts and other cultural subjects, to maintain galleries and to publish literature.
- To extend financial assistance to renowned and/or indigent artists and to confer distinctions and other honours on individual/group artists for outstanding achievements.
- To undertake, facilitate and provide opportunities for the publication of newspapers, books, etc.
- To accept and undertake the management of any endowment of trust or donation to further the objects of the Centre.
